During implementation of the ARIBA solution worldwide, we analysed the processes and ARIBA's ability to manage these processes in order to make proposals to modify them to simplify deployment of the ARIBA solution and help set up simplification solutions for some purchasing categories (e.g.: lodged cards, factoring, etc.).

Alstom Power develop flexible solution for the production of electricity. Purchasing, which represents a large proportion of the final cost is analysed and monitored every week.

Analysis of the families forming the purchasing turnover has been entrusted to Ariba.  Significant anomalies were reported after a few months. Emergency intervention aimed at restructuring the interfaces was therefore organised.

Very short-term corrective action - to eliminate all bugs identified - was carried out in two steps.

Medium-term preventive action led to the implementation of a data analysis tool before injection in Ariba.

La poste

La Poste Courrier is one of the 4 sectors of activity of the La Poste group which offers added value services to both companies and private individuals.

After implementing SAP for its finance base, the customer requested us to conduct an opportunity study to provide advice regarding the choice of its future e-procurement tool.

The study was carried out in 2 phases over 3 months :

  • Phase 1: Detailed study of requirements on the basis of previously identified themes,
  • Phase 2: Support with the choice of purchasing solution.

This administration was formed by the merger between the DJO (Direction des Journaux Officiels) and La Documentation Française,

The Purchasing department created by merging the departments in the two organisations decides to keep the b-pack tool and extend it throughout the new purchasing perimeter. We were involved in the creation and deployment of the training plan to all persons interested and accountants. This training course consisted of two aspects, change management and familiarisation with the tool.

In 2004, implementation of the b-pack solution on a supply chain management perimeter mainly on catalogues (over 1 000 000 item references) on 1280 sites and 4000 users. In 2007, b-pack was included in the group's IS strategy.

During this second phase, we aimed at extending the features and purchasing scope covered and performing integration with the ERP.
